Quarterly Newsletter: Spring Edition 2025
“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.” - Albert Einstein

Hello, my friend! I hope you’re doing well and enjoying the warmer weather. ☀️
You might have noticed a few changes to this publication lately, including a new name. Simply Writing feels more aligned with the shift I’ve made recently, which is moving away from the unfulfilling grind of social media consumption and spending that doomscrolling time doing what I love: writing.
Long-form written content has always been my go-to, so I’m dedicating more time to this publication as well as working on a new book. I’ll be releasing weekly posts covering topics such as writing, asexuality, books, digital minimalism, mindfulness, and more. My main goal is to focus on building a writing portfolio and not a curated life grid.
It feels right to be making this pivot during the spring season—the time when everything begins coming back to life after months of hibernation.
Now, let’s catch up…
💻 Writing Updates
It’s been a long time since a fiction idea really excited me. Having spent the last two and a half years planning and writing my memoir, fiction felt like a distant dream. However, this new concept has been eager to come to life. I had it in mind many years ago but it was pushed aside for my memoir.
I keep my ideas pretty close to my chest in the early planning/drafting stages, so I won't reveal any major details. All I’ll say is that it’s an adult contemporary novel with speculative elements and I look forward to updating you on the drafting process.
As for my memoir, there have been some developments in that department. I’m not ready to share that information yet. Once things settle down, I’ll reveal more in a longer post. For now, just know it’s still very much alive and present.

While I understand being paid for your work is important, I’m also aware we all have financial restrictions. In lieu of a paywall, please consider buying me a coffee instead. A little caffeine goes a long way for a writer, and I will be forever grateful for the fuel.
